As far as color of clothes, we don't need to do that...the kids all did it last year, but not something we need to do.Debbie

My suggestion would be to meet 3:15-3:45pm in the Family Zone on Deck 13 Forward (port side). In case of rain, we could meet in the vicinity of the Vista Cafe on Deck 4 (opposite side of the atrium from Shutters).

We will try to meet the group at 3:15. We're not doing FE as I'm not that organized. My kids are looking forward to meeting some kids early on in the trip.

The personalized tshirts I ordered for my kids for pirate night came today. They turned out great! My kids never fine their names (Ellie and Finnegan) on things so they are excited for personalized tshirts.

We have a busy weekend - but I need to find time to get or last minute clothing. I won't be long now!

I am happy to do the Group #2 map as well. I am also fine with it being sent out in any way possible. Or if all else fails, I am happy to bring copies and make an early delivery of the map as I make the rounds.

3 weeks from mow, I will be on my way. Overnight in Paris on the way....what shall I do that night? If it is warm, perhaps a Seine cruise? Too bad it is too far to get out to Disneyland for the evening......then again....maybe!

Soooo, if my choice was between a Seine cruise and a quick trip to DLP, I'd choose DLP! You can take that super fast TGV train and be there in ten minutes!

If you've cruised on the Wonder and/or Magic, you know that the Pirate Buffet is usually set up on the pool deck. Not so for the Dream! After the Pirate Party Tuesday night, be sure to head into Cabanas for the Pirate Buffet. It is only open for 45 minutes, from 10:30pm until 11:15pm. You will find a wide variety of desserts, as well as some snack type foods.

Don't get too excited about seeing the "Family Zone". Last year, it was just a big open space with lots of lounge chairs stacked up against a wall. Not sure why it's called the Family Zone, other than the opposite side of the ship is the smoking area. But, it was a nice, big area for everyone to gather.

So my little DD (8) loves to dress up. She has a Cinderella costume with crown and all that we're considering packing. Is there an event on the ship for the girls to dress up like a princess? Character tea/lunch/dinner? I see that there's a pirate dress up night. DH loves to pack light so I'm starting to pick and choose what we truly need.

The Princess Gathering takes place during the cruise where all of the princesses are in the Atrium for pictures and autographs. Sorry I don't remember the time(s) but I believe that there were 2 sessions - 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon but I don't remember the days. There were many little "Princesses" dressed up in their princess dresses. It is a big event and all the Princesses have a good time. I'm sure your little Princess would love to wear her special dress for the event.

We also saw a lot of little princesses wearing their costumes for dinner in The Royal Palace restaurant since it is princess-themed. And, we have also seen lots of little princesses in costume on the optional formal night.

Welcome to our cruise meets thread! We're glad you found us! Is this your first Disney cruise?

Unfortunately, the it was decided a long time ago that the cut-off for joining the FE Exchange would be March 1st so that everyone would have time to get their stuff together. Our organizer, guarn3md, has already sent out the final lists of participants to all those who already signed up.

However, I have extra FE gifts, so if you want to tell me your cabin number and ages of your kids, I would be happy to exchange with you! (You need to have ten posts on the DIS Boards in order to send a private message.)

Please don't feel nervous about participating in the FE. It's just a little fun thing we crazy DISers do to add a bit more excitement and magic to our cruise. There is absolutely no pressure or expectations on what to give/receive. It's more about the fun of finding little surprises in your FE throughout the day! And believe me, it is fun when you see that something has been delivered to your FE! We've received items as small as a little homemade magnet and as extravagant as a Disney travel mug... and everything in between! Honestly, I'm happy as a clam with anything that shows up inside my FE. So, whatever you decide to do will be fabulous!

I cancelled our excursion by clicking on it and then off to the side was a button that didn't say anything about "cancel" but allowed you to cancel whatever you had booked. Sorry I can't be more descriptive, but I did it about 2 weeks ago and my brain is fried right now.

I just got home from MO moving my sis and BIL back to FL. My sis and I just spent the last 2 days (22 hrs) in a U-Haul. It's time to sleep! Just wanted to check what's going on before I sleep in MY OWN BED again!
