Apr 19, 2015 Western Caribbean (Jamaica)

Seacruise - There's a Facebook group where some of us have also been discussing, so feel free to join us there. But that said, conversation is still light. It'll pick up as our sail date approaches. ;)

Do you mind me asking what it cost? Right now coming in from boston we are looking at $450 per person round trip! :scared: :sad2:
JetBlue and Southwest haven't opened their schedules yet for April 2015, so hang in there and watch for when they do--hopefully better fares from BOS or MHT.

Our flights were $463 round trip from Seattle. Though that was a pretty decent price for non-stop flights. There was a red-eye to MCO that was $50 less, but no way with two little kids.

Don't usually book this early but was using miles for couple seats and wanted to grab those while I could.

I know, I should probably relent and join FB, but I've held out this long so I can't give in now. ;)

Did anybody else get a "planning guide" in the mail from Disney? Seems kind of worthless, just the same info they have already sent in email.

We received one. Thought it was really early to be getting anything.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding! Just a small word of advice....make sure your cruise is booked in the name on your legal documents (drivers lic, etc) if you sail right after your wedding you won't have time to get name change to photo ID and May need to travel under your maiden name (air & cruise)!
We want you to actually be able to board the ship :)

Thank you so much!!! That is so helpful, we did book our cruise and it is still under my maiden name!! We can't wait to set sail with everyone and captain Mickey' :))

Ok, so this is ridiculously early, but here is a list of the ships that are supposed to be in port with us on this sailing.

Some sites show the X Silhouette being in port with us as well at Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Falmouth, but as far as I can tell that is an error and that ship is doing a transatlantic the week we cruise.

Anyway, looks pretty darn good. 3 ships in Grand Cayman and 4 in Cozumel is totally manageable.

Apr 19 - Port Canaveral
Disney Magic
Carnival Sensation
Freedom of the Seas

Apr 21 - Cozumel, Mexico
Disney Magic (Punta Langosta)
Carnival Conquest
Carnival Paradise
Carnival Splendor

Apr 22 - Georgetown, Grand Cayman
Disney Magic
Brilliance of the Seas
Carnival Breeze

Apr 23 - Falmouth, Jamaica
Disney Magic

Apr 25 - Castaway Cay
Disney Magic

Apr 26 - Port Canaveral

Hi, welcome. What a cool surprise for the kids. Good idea to do the parks first and then the cruise. Are you going to do Harry Potter at both parks or just the new stuff at USF?

There are several of us on this sailing from WA/OR.

Hi,
This will be our first cruise!! You seem like you have gone on a few before, have you ever sailed the Panama Canal? I wanted to book it while were on this cruise for the early booing discount but am not sure if it's worth the cost for the same room were saying in it double what were paying for this cruise!

Thanks!!!

LOL, yeah we've done a few cruises (actually about 30). This will only be our 2nd on Disney though. I have only done the Panama Canal once and it was a long time ago. It's on my list to do again with the family, but want to wait until the kids are older and can appreciate it.

It's definitely worth doing, but i'm not sure I would choose Disney for the Panama Canal. It's usually a pretty expensive itinerary made even more so on Disney. ;) The full transit is much more interesting than the cruises that only go to Gatun lake and then turn around and come back out. If you do the full transit you get to go through the Galliard cut and all 3 sets of locks. I believe Princess does some itineraries with a 2 day Panama Canal experience. Panama Canal would be really interesting to do now with the construction of the new locks and widening of the channel going on.

We are only doing universal on this trip. Can't wait to see Harry potter land! I may be more excited then the kids will be. Going to start planning excursions soon!pixiedust::yay::yay:

You probably know this already, but if you want to ride the Hogwarts Express you will need a multi park ticket for both USF and IOA.

jetBlue opens their April 2015 schedule for booking on Sunday July 13th at noon eastern.

It's official!!! DH got Days off from work! And I Got our air tickets Today! $248 round trip per person.. :yay: :yay:

Not bad for vacation week up here in New England.. People have been scooping up the cheaper flights all day.
When I 1st started this morning the price was $236. By the time I was able to book the price already jumped to $248
A few hours later that same flight was already up to $272!
1/2 my flight is already book!

Cool, glad you got your flights figured out. Sometimes it seems like finding decent flights is the hardest part of planning any trip.

I know it is for us. Coming from Western Canada, the flight can sometimes be more than the cruise! Still waiting for prices to be less than $3K!
