Appropriate dress?

For Artist Point one night, then Party for the Senses the next.
The CM when I made ADR for Artist Point said resort casual, no tank tops or tees.
So what would be appropriate for both, so we only have to pack one nicer outfit. We are trying to pack light.

Help!! Examples please?

We just ate there last week. Guys were in khakis, jeans and shorts with t-shirts. We wore khakis and collared shirts. Some guys had flip-flops on. Ladies wore skirts, khakis and jeans with t-shirts and collared shirts. It was a real mix of dress. I felt we were a little over dressed when I looked around, then in came a couple with the man in a suit and the lady in nice evening attire. I think anything goes as long as you are not in a swimsuit, tank top or torn clothes. The food was pretty good at Artist Point, but it in my opinion it is not a romantic dressy place. It was a little cold in there, so if you are prone to cold you might want to dress a little warmer.

Anything goes...as long as you aren't in swim wear and shower shoes.

We have attended Artist Point in everything from park attire to dressing up before hand, depending on the occasion.

For Party..you will see many people in resort casual (khakis/polo), many in shorts/jeans depending on the night.

So pack light and enjoy!

OK..that is just so wrong...and definately not enforced! I wish WDW would get it together and quite stating they have a dress code when everyone knows they really don't (except for V&A's of course and even that is negotiable some nights),

The problem is magnified when some CM's who take the reservations either mention and then don't explain the dress code, or make up their own. I still see a post now and then where someone reports that a CM told them no shorts or jeans.
Would be better all around I think if they just mentioned what is absolutely NOT permitted.

Think I will pack khakis and a polo for DH, still unsure about myself or the kids.
