What places (for dinner) inside the parks have a dress code?

I ask because I would prefer not kill an afternoon just to go back to the resort (staying offsite) to change clothes then 'hop' to whereever just to have dinner. I definately don't want to have to wear nicer clothes throughout a park day either.

All of the restaurants in the parks have a 'theme-park casual' dress code. Meaning, if you can wear it in the parks, you can wear it in the restaurant. Flip-flops, t-shirts, shorts, whatever. No need to change into something fancy.

The one possible exception to that would be Bistro de Paris in Epcot. It's very intimate, elegant, and expensive, and I'd feel uncomfortable wearing park attire there. It's not like you need to wear a cocktail dress or a suit, but I'd want to at least have on a polo shirt and nicer shorts.

Even at Bistro De Paris, they allow park attire. I think they realize it is to much to expect folks to leave, change and come back. I have seen tank tops to flip flops with no one batting an eye..smjj

It's the Signature Restaurants, that usually say no flip flops, swim wear, tank tops and stuff like that. Of course you can wear stuff like shorts and a nice top. The Signature Restaurants are the 2 TS, such as; Cali Grill, Jiko, Yachtsman Steak, Hollywood Brown Derby, Narccoossees, Citricos and Flying Fish, to name a few. Not sure if I got them all. I'm sure someone will come along w/more info.

Well, I came along with more info! Brown Derby doesn't have a dress code; it's in a park. I found this about what restaurants have dress codes:

Effective July 1, 2007, Disney modified its Business Casual Dress Code at its premier restaurants to include t-shirts. The guidelines, which originally went into effect July 2005, still prohibit hats, swim suits, swim suit coveralls, tank tops, torn clothing or flip-flops. Suggested attire includes dress shorts, pants, jean pants, collared shirts, blouses, sweaters. Restaurants now requiring Business Casual dress include: Artist Point (Wilderness Lodge), California Grill (Contemporary), Citricos and Narcoossee's (Grand Floridian), Jiko (Animal Kingdom Lodge), Flying Fish (Boardwalk), and Yachtsman Steakhouse (Yacht Club).

Victoria and Albert's in the Grand Floridian has a formal dress code. But that's it! Park attire is fine everywhere else.

I am a SAHM who doesn't get dressed up often. I do have something to wear to a rehersal dinner and a wedding coming soon. The shoes are 2" heels... over kill for California Grill?

Although I am a frequent violator, I really cannot see why it is so difficult to wear clothing that covers from the neck (continously) down to more than half of the thigh and with sleeves that cover most of the biceps, and wear footwear that covers the entire foot.

Nobody said you had to wear a blazer or a button down or long pants or something that threatens to split if you squatted down.

High heels and dresses mix in well with the shorts and T's at California Grill. You'll see all manner of dress at that spot. Don't even give it a second thought.
