appropriate age for bruce almighty

Someone's got to have seen it already
so I'm wondering what age is this movie appropriate for
my 8 yr old DD wants to see it
I checked out some of those parental movie screening web sites
but I really couldn't find a good one that answered my questions
and I knew I could count on you guys for advise
Is she too young for this movie??

We had the premiere here in Buffalo on Tuesday and I took my 7yr old son. I would normally not take him to a PG13 movie, but we actually were in the HSBC arena when they were filming a scene, so I thought it would be neat if we were actually in it. Long story short they cut that scene.

The movie is very funny - this is the run down on language 1 time the "f" word, 1 "a" word, 1 sexual reference (was over my son's head), they used the "finger" once, and there was a reference to large breasts. There was also some gross nose and bathroom humor stuff but kids get into that!

My son laughed so hard I thought he was going to choke on his popcorn! So that's it in a nutshell. It was typical Jim Carrey funny and it really shows Buffalo in a good way.

I'm planning on taking DD to see it sometime too. PG13 is no worse than what's on TV.
