Applying a Room Only discount to a package?

I'm excited to book our hotel room and park tickets. On the form from the travel agent it says this is a 'magic your way' package. What happens if closer to my trip, a room only discount comes out? Would I be able to drop the package? My trip is in late October, so historically RO discounts don't come out until August 1.

You can apply a RO discount to the room portion of your package. No worries.

I'm trying to do some math in case we do get a Room discount for November.

The percentage comes off of JUST the room correct?

The pp is correct that you can apply a room discount when you have a package. The discount will be on the room portion only, but you can keep the package.
