apply unused ticket to DVC PAP special?

I assume that I can apply my 2 day unused MWY ticket to the DVC PAP special? MS told me at DTD that I could apply to discounted DVC AP rate. Did anyone apply unused ticket last year to the $399 special?

We had upgraded our tickets with the $399 deal. We had 8 day tix, and used 7 days of them, and then upgraded them to the PAP.
