i messed up on an application, should i get a new one or use white out

I guess that depends on the type of application...

Then I'd say white out is perfectly fine!

I used to be the one to sift through applications where I worked and you would be amazing at what people write on those things. A lot of people just cross things out.

Just make sure you spell things correctly, you answer the questions correctly (it's insane how many people can't do that) and that you have neat handwriting. Your handwriting doesn't need to be good or perfect but it's needs to be readable.

But using white out, you'll be fine.
