Trying to rent a scooter for my grandmother in April. I've scoured the comments section and Apple Scooter has mixed (mostly favorable) reviews and the same with Walker Mobility. I've now heard about All Star Scooters, a division of Walker Mobility, and the are substantially cheaper then Apple Scooter for the same product. Has anyone had experience with them? Does it really make a difference who I rent from if they both have positive reviews? This is so overwhelming! I just want my grandma to be comfortable at WDW, and not have to worry.
. However, from my experience, the $20/day scooter is not the same as the standard scooters I rent for more money. From my experience and the experience of friends, the $20/day scooter works best around the hills and inclines at WDW if the person is under about 200 pounds (even though the manufacturer lists more weight). From what I recall, the $20/day scooter is not water resistant and does not have a headlight. Personally I use the scooter at night and like having a headlight.
