Apple Scooter, All Star Scooters or Walker Mobility?

Trying to rent a scooter for my grandmother in April. I've scoured the comments section and Apple Scooter has mixed (mostly favorable) reviews and the same with Walker Mobility. I've now heard about All Star Scooters, a division of Walker Mobility, and the are substantially cheaper then Apple Scooter for the same product. Has anyone had experience with them? Does it really make a difference who I rent from if they both have positive reviews? This is so overwhelming! I just want my grandma to be comfortable at WDW, and not have to worry.

No one has really posted much about All Stars Scooters. I expect thy would be the same as Walker since I think they basically renamed the division to get closer to the start of the alphabet.

I would feel comfortable renting from any of the companies listed in post 2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread. They are listed there because the majority of experiences reported have been good.

Thanks for the reply! I ended up going with Apple Scooter and booked this morning. When I called Walker, I got very one word answers and that put me off. The guy who answered at Apple (I presume Alex that everyone talks about) was very friendly and very helpful. Hopefully this all works out!

I reserved Apple scooter for our February trip. MY reasoning was because it was almost $100 cheaper than walker mobility for the 12 days we would be there.

We've rented from Apple the last five trips, and we are always pleased with the service and the price.

I have rented scooters from Walker Mobility for about ten + years, and I highly recommend them for their customer service, their products and their prices.

All Star Scooters is now part of Walker Mobility; they merged last month. Walker still rents the scooters for $20 a day. I believe this is the best competitive price in the Orlando area . However, from my experience, the $20/day scooter is not the same as the standard scooters I rent for more money. From my experience and the experience of friends, the $20/day scooter works best around the hills and inclines at WDW if the person is under about 200 pounds (even though the manufacturer lists more weight). From what I recall, the $20/day scooter is not water resistant and does not have a headlight. Personally I use the scooter at night and like having a headlight.
