Do they accept Apple Pay in the parks right now? Would be nice to just use my watch to pay.

You can add Disney gift cards to Apple Wallet? How?

If you buy an e-gift card directly from Shop Disney, there will be a button link in the email to add it to Apple Wallet. There doesn’t seem to be a way to do it with physical gift cards or e-gift cards purchased from third party web sites like Target.

Since I had a lot of discounted gift cards I bought from BJs, I bought one $25 gift card from Shop Disney that I added to Apple Wallet. Then I transferred the balance from my other gift cards using the Disney Gift Card web site.

It was so convenient to use in the parks!

That's a great tip!

Yes, Apple Pay works great! In addition, if you use a magic band and don't want to wear that and a watch, you can add these adapters to your Apple Watch (or other types) and voila!

We use both, though I am looking forward to the day when the Disney App will enable your phone/watch to function just like a magic band!

Could I scan my tickets into my phone and use it in place on real tickets?

My husband just tried this with his Apple Watch and his half-eaten Magic Band (thanks, dog :D ). Worked great!

I don't mind wearing Magic Bands, but I also can't wait until I can scan into the park with my phone.

Yes! I hopeful that soon the Disney App on my phone will have full Magic Band functionality to tix, Resort charges, etc can all be done via iPhone and Apple watch. That will be awesome.

Great thread, thanks for sharing! We are headed to Disney in April for our first pandemic-era visit and wanted to find a way to avoid using cash. I'll check out the discounted gift cards at BJ's!
