I am still thinking of the refillable mug  . For My hubby, my son and myself it would be a good deal, but I was thinking my younger son would only ever drink water from it so why pay 13 dollars for him to refill it with free water? Then I read that Pop Century had apple juice at the soda foutains. Does that sound right? If that is the case, it might be worth it to get the mug for my youngest son too. He drinks water, juice, pediasure and milk and won't touch sodas.

We were at the POP in 2006 - I don't remember apple juice at the fountain they did sell juice in the grab and go section which is not included in the mug. My DD (age 12) only drinks water and milk so I do not buy her a mug. I take either a mug from a prior trip or refillable water bottle to hold the water from the drink station. The cups they provide are very small.

Yes, the have apple juice in the drink stations. However, the real draw for my kids was the icees you can also have in the refillable mugs. They also have hot chocolate if he likes that at all (be very careful though as sometimes it's really, really hot!).

I was just at Pop in Jan. Yes they do have apple juice in the fountain system. Also if your family will be eating at Pop your daughter has a choice of either milk or water for free with a kids meal. That is all my wife and I order when we are there.

We always get one each for the four of us. Reason #1 - DH makes a tea/coffee run 1st thing in the morning before we are ready to got the food court. We do 2 tea and 2 coffee (using the kids mugs too) then wash them out before going to breakfast. That way I can have a cuppa before & after my shower without trekking back to the food court! The kids then use theirs later in the day. And Reason #2 - At home use. We use ours at home all the time. Car jaunts, show rehersals, walks on the beach. If we didn't each have one there'd be fights as to who gets to use one! :rotfl:

That's awesome, I wasn't expecting juice for the mug. I bought the mug at POFQ last year and I got tired of lemonade after awhile. Apple juice at breakfast would be great.

Hopefully our room at POP will be close enough to get some use of the mug other than mealtimes.

My DD is totally begging for us to stay at Pop againg this year b/c of the icee's in the refillable mugs. She said Pop Century is her favorite hotel ever! I have us booked at POFQ for this fall as part of the Free Dining bounceback and now I can't get it changed to Pop b/c they do not have any more rooms availalbe for that promotion. DH wants to stay there too! POFQ is my favorite and my mom's but now I feel like I was being selfish especially when that would save us money! Oh well, I guess I'll keep trying and calling...

Wow. We just got home yesterday and I never even noticed the Icees! My kids would've loved that. I can confirm they have apple juice in the fountain drinks. There's a tab on the apple juice fountain you can press if you just want cold water.

That is perfect that you can get water also. My son is 8 and doesn't like soft drinks. He always wanted a mug but their wasn't anything for him to put in it.

Does anyone know if they do this at any of the other resorts. I have only stayed at POR and I didn't notice if they had this or not, but my 2 year old stepson drinks apple juice like most people breath. Any info from anyone would be helpful.
