We just returned from 6 nights at WDW. I ordered a scooter for my dad, who has a variety of medical issues limiting his stamina, balance, etc. The scooter was at our resort at the time we arrived to CBR. While not as cushy as most of the models we saw around the parks, it was significantly cheaper, and he had no complaints about comfort. The battery life was incredible. It rarely seemed to drop a notch, even when we were out all day. Overall, we would wholeheartedly recommend apple for ECV rental. I'm not posting this based upon any request from the company, but rather because I would have found this information helpful when I was looking to book. Hope it helps someone!

Thanks! I am looking into renting an ECV for my mom for our spring break trip. She is probably having foot surgery for a torn tendon in February and walking in the parks will probably be out of the question. Apple seemed to have the best prices, but I couldn't find many reviews!

I just returned yesterday from a long weekend using an Apple scooter. It was amazing. I got the smallest model and it turned very easily and sharp right when needed. The price was incredibly reasonable and the fact that it was delivered there meant I could use it immediately. The battery life never decreased but I charged it anyway. Don't hesitate to use them. I would any time!!!

I just returned from a 2 week trip where I rented the Go-Go Elite Traveller Plus from Apple. I was extremely pleased with all aspects of the rental. We stayed offsite. The scooter was dropped off to and picked up by Apple from the hotel valet. My 16 yr old dd and I were able to disassemble the scooter and put it in the trunk of our rental car; I wouldn't say it was easy but we managed, and having the scooter allowed me to do so much more than I would have been able to do without it. The hotel valet showed us how to disassemble. The first scooter had some problems which were fixed with telephone support from Apple. Eventually the first scooter died and Apple came to MK with a replacement. Second scooter worked perfectly. The lever to operate the scooter didn't cause any pain in my hands, on a previous trip I rented a different model scooter from another company and that lever did cause some pain. Thumbs up to Apple!

I am just back from WDW with a three day rental of Apple's largest model. Have used them 4-5 times before, but won't again. In three days we had to have the scooter replaced once and the batteries replaced once. Both scooters were in bad shape. The first one would jolt to a stop as soon as you let go of the throttle. That was manageable, but the fact that I'd be rolling along fine and the battery would drop to zero was not. Apple replaced the scooter within 90 minutes of our call in AK. That's great, but hurt our plans. The new scooter was in a bit better shape appearance-wise, but the battery clips inside were broken, resulting in times when the battery cables would come off on bumpy ground. The batteries died in the middle of the day. Apple brought new batteries, commenting that the ones we were given were old.

As I was around the park I looked at other scooters. None looked near as bad as any I rented. I think next time I'll try renting elsewhere.
