DH and I will have some time to ourselves this trip but we don't really want a big TS dinner. What would be nice is to sit a the bar/lounge for a drink, a chat and some munchies.

Does anyone know if the lounge at AKL or WL have an appetizer menu? Or do you have a favorite place to relax and have a drink and maybe some wings or nachos? Maybe the CR with a view of the MK would be nice or someplace at the boardwalk.

Thanks for the help:)

WL has a light menu (they used to anyway) like a cheese platter.

AKL..don't recall anything, but if you sit in the bar at Jiko you can eat apps in there.

We love the pulled pork flatbread! :woohoo: Here is the menu for Territory Lounge. I suggest ending your meal with their chocolate mudslide martini.

:thumbsup2 Applewood Smoked Bacon & Tomato Flatbread - Applewood smoked bacon and tomato flatbread. - $7.99
Cheese & Fruit Plate - Cheese and fruit plate. - $7.99
Honey-Ginger Chicken Wings - Served with dipping sauces: mustard, peanut, and sweet chili. - $7.99
Nachos - Made with beef chili, cheddar cheese, and salsa. - $7.99

Relaxing in TL is one of our favorite things to do. :cool1:  We will be eating here in 2 days.:cool1::banana:

Thanks guys -

Ron that sounds like exactly what I was looking for, WL was high on our visit list:)

There must be others - esp at CR or along the boardwalk right?

My sil thinks the lounge at BC/YC serves an appetizer menu but she isn't sure, can anyone confirm.

Nachos - with beef chili, cheddar cheese and salsa $7.99

Cheese and fruit plate $7.99

Honey-Ginger Chicken Wings $7.99

Warm Spinach and Artichoke Dip with Crab $7.49

We ate here during at stay at the CR. The nachos had hardly any toppings on them. And the wings were average at best.

I have not tried the food here yet, but we love going to the Tambu Lounge for a drink. Their menu looks good, and food we have seen others eating while there also looked great. Wings and crab cake looked like they were the same as Kona's.

Cheese & Fruit Plate - Cheese and fruit plate. - $7.99
Crisp Breads & Dips - Crisp breads and dips. - $5.99
Duck Pot Stickers - Served with ginger-soy sauce. - $6.99
Honey-Ginger Chicken Wings - Honey-ginger chicken wings. - $7.99
Lump Crab Cake - Served with Asian tartar sauce. - $10.19

You can get food at the Crew's Cup at YC. The Crew's Cup is the lounge right next to the Yachtsman Steakhouse, not the one in the lobby. Don't know if you can get food at the lobby lounge.

WL has a pretty good appetizer menu now. I think they've got wings, nachos, a cheese plate, and two types of flatbread, tomato/bacon and pulled pork.

LOVE the bacon flatbread.

The drink menu currently sucks though. All the specialty drinks were completely removed. I knew a bartender who would make one for me, but on my last visit there was a new bartender who couldn't.

They still had Red Hook ale on tap so I may stick to beer.

AKL..don't recall anything, but if you sit in the bar at Jiko you can eat apps in there.

I recall being told that you can order from Jiko's full menu at their bar (NOT Victoria Falls, the Jiko waiting area bar).

CR's bar/lounge does not have a view of the MK, their lounge is on the Bay Lake side. The California Grill would have the MK view. CG does allow persons to come up and visit the bar, but you have to ask at the CG desk on the 2nd floor if there is space. If there is space, they will have you escorted up. And it's probably best to not even try this at fireworks time. Don't know if they will serve food to bar patrons, though.

We enjoy the Tambu Lounge at the Poly!

We are going to go to Territory Lounge for our next trip, it sounds great!

WL had a great appitizer menu at least when we were there a few years ago. Supposedly the food comes from Artist's Point. We had quite a few of the appitizers and enjoyed them very much. Nachos were Great!

They share a kitchen. It's not Artist Point food.

They do have the nachos at Whispering Canyon though...or they used to.

Thanks everyone - lots more than I expected. We aren't looking for fireworks or anything "spectacular" just a nice place to relax and talk for an hour or so.

Looks like WL is definately on the list:)
