Appetiser on dining plan?

Hi everyone

I am just wanting to know if you get an appetiser along with your entree and dessert at signature restaurants?

We are going to Yachtsman Steakhouse in September, and if it is only the entree and dessert it is actually cheaper for us to pay OOP than to use the 2 TSM credits, based on all of our ADR's and total meal costs. Yeah for excel

Also, I am guessing that the drink is the normal non-alcoholic beverage?

Yes, on the regular dining plan, it is still just entree, dessert, and non-alcoholic bev.

You get the same entitlements at a signature restaurant as you would at a non-signature restaurant. On basic DDP, that's entree, dessert and (non-alcoholic) beverage. If you have DxDP you also get an appetizer.

The only time you get an appetizer on the dining plan is if you have the deluxe plan.

So if you are eating at a signature restaurant with the reg. dining plan you will NOT be able to get a appy, unless you pay OOP for it.

And you are correct - beverage is a non alcoholic drink.

The only time you get an appetizer on the dining plan is if you have the deluxe plan.

There are some exceptions where you CAN get an appetizer on the regular dining plan.

Family-style restaurants like 'Ohana dinner entitle regular DDP guests to the full menu. So does CRT, which is a fixed menu restaurant.

Several restaurants have fixed price menus, which include the appetizer if you order from it. You've got to stick with the listed entrees though, and they are never the expensive ones.

Book a special meal package - Fantasmic or Candlelight Processional. Appetizer is included even on regular DDP if you pick a non-buffet restaurant.

CRT is not a fixed menu - you do get to choose your appetizer, your entree and your dessert although the selections are not vast. But, yes, you do get the appetizer even on the regular dining plan.
