Anyone have their apoB tested? I'm going to bring it up to my doctor. It seems like a more predictive way to really test cholesterol's future potential impact on developing cardiac problems in the future.

Some drug companies try to push testing of various things because it means more revenue for them. I will let my doctor decide what tests I might need, not based on some ad I saw on TV.

I don't work in the medical field, but it seems like every year there are new medical tests being advertised on TV for things I have never even heard of. I would imagine many doctors waste a lot of their time explaining to patients why that test they saw on some TV ad isn't appropriate for them.
