After months of searching for an APH rate for May for RPH, we finally got one! For May 9-11, we got a rate of $154! We were originally getting a rate of $224. Very happy!

I had a reservation from before, but ended up cancelling it to book this one. Does anyone know how long it takes for the credit to go back onto my credit card?

Yay!!! Told you to be patient!!! What I usually do is just have them apply my credit to my new reservation. They will connect you to accounting to have that done. When the Canadian dollar was fluctuating so much it made a difference having things credited back to the card.

Did you book online or by phone?

I booked online for the APH rates...and then cancelled online for the old reservation. Its too late to apply the old reservation deposit onto the new reservation (I just got off the phone with Universal resorts). Lesson learned, but still REALLY happy about the rate I got!:banana::banana:

I should've been more trusting in you Damo...You said it would happen and it did!:thumbsup2

I did the same thing that you did. Booked on line and then cancelled and changed my reservation. I'm not sure that my deposit was even taken since I did it all within the last credit card billing month. The bill should come soon and I'll let you know how quickly the refund was given. Unfortunately it is on our US credit card and we don't get online access to it.

If I book Hard Rock with the APH rates and then change the number of days later, does this change the reservation pricing? For instance I think I will book five nights to cover ourselves, but may drop one night later. Will the nightly rate stay the same if I drop a night later?

Here is what happened to me that was a real pain. When they make changes to your reservation they don't just simply drop a day or add a day. They rebook the new stay that you want. If the new rates in the system are different than the ones you've got, they want to charge you the new rates. At least that is what happened to me. Luckily I was able to eventually rebook at the right prices because they came up but the reservationist at the time was not going to let me. I would have a chat with whoever you book with and see what they say. I may just have had an uniformed person.
