Honestly, from a strictly aesthetic point of view, I don't much care for the US flag - it's too busy. I do like a Union Jack. I also liek Iceland, and Nepal with their unusual shape (the one with the two triangular points). I took a qucik look through them and I think Seychelles is pretty neat:

I've always liked Brazil's flag, because it looks like something from a Flash Gordon movie or other old timey Sci-Fi series.

I saw that Seychelles was ranked #1 as far as most appealing, but to me, it looks like they phoned it in.
"Eh, colors...just slap them on there. No, no motif or logo. We need this done in an hour."
