AP7 Rate????

One of our favorites? Believe it or not, the PB and J sammys! Just love those babies!

Lucky you can eat 'em. They are so filled with junk and it triggers DS's behavior problems b/c of the ingredients. :(

Even before we read the ingredients and realize they have 2 of the 3 big bad ingredients, we refused to pay 5 bucks for them at the parks, let alone pay concierge for the benefit of getting a supply of them! :upsidedow

Out of curiousity could you book your room then call with the code later?

On this same note, does anyone know when the rates come out for March/April? Trying to plan spring break time.

They usually don't offer the exceptional AP rates during spring break - at least they haven't the past 4-5 years.

I've never had to give them my AP code to get the special rate and I booked as recently as April. I only needed to show my card upon check in.

To be clear--you don't have to give a code to get the "regular" AP rate of 10% off the rack rates--you just tell them you have an AP.

However, periodically DLR offers "special" AP rates that are designated by a code and are usually much more than 10% off=-the CMs will not give you these rates unless they get the code from you (i.e., the last one was AP6, which is why everyone is anticipating the next one will be AP7).

Aha, I knew that but obviously didn't think before I posted - wouldn't be the first time and won't be the last.

Does anyone know which DLR hotels are included in the AP "7?" rate? Is GCH usually part of the deal and if so what were the past prices???

TIA

last Fall the GCH was included; it was not in the special AP6 rates for Spring '08.

I thought the AP4 rates came out in mid August. I remember I stayed at DLH the night of August 22 or 23 and it was the first night of the promotion. The front desk staff at DLH were all atwitter at the cheap rate I had.

The AP4 GCH rate was $199 for a standard. A view room was $219 or $229 - can't quite recall. I hope that rate returns, please!

Do these special rates only come out for Fall and Spring? This is our first year as AP holders, and we were hoping to stay at the DLH in January for our anniversary. :goodvibes

Thanks,

I'm really hoping they some out soon. We used them last year for the DLH but for the life of me I cant remember when the rates came out (I think it was in July though)

If Disney holds with its history, January will be under a different promotion. Last year, January fell into "AP5"; the rates at DLH and PP were still very good (much better than rack) but not at good as the Fall "AP4" rates which ran from about Aug 22 to Dec 15th (holidays excluded). Hope this helps.

When I first decided to go this September I picked back through posts all the way to last year to see when they came out. I am sure it was mid July but don't remember the exact date. The 11th keeps coming to mind for some reason.

I can't wait as well. We missed them last year because it didn't fit in our schedule, but this is the last year that my son has before starting Kindergarden, so we are trying to go in October. I'm from Ca. but I can't handle the heat when I am in Dis. My kids get cranky, I get hot and the other guests sometimes feel irritable to. In the fall the weather is soooo nice. I will keep listening and hopefully it will be soon. :thumbsup2
