AP-- When does it start? / end?

When does the date of an AP start - the day you buy it, or validation,,, If I bought a AP in Sept to book a Dec 2004 trip, And validated it at Disney World In Dec.---- when does it end next year?? Thanks

If you buy a voucher (exchange certificate), either online or at The Disney Store, the time starts when you exchange it for the actual pass at WDW. So if you buy a voucher in September and exchange it in December, the pass will expire one year from the date in December.

If you buy an active pass, such as at a ticket window or the airport disney store, it starts immediately, even if you do not enter the park.

it starts the day you activate/validate it and good for a year.

ie. we activated ours 1/23/04 and valid thru 1/23/05.
