Mercy - try not to worry so, I did not have an AP when I booked in Dec. You do not have to have it until check in.

Yeah, I know, I just had this image of me calling CRO all excited... codes in hand and ready.... and then the CM says, "Mrs. *** what is the number on your AP?" AAAAgggghhh!!!!

Patience patience patience, perhaps we should have a pool of when they come out. WHatever I pick will be wrong for sure.

At least I know I'm not the only one waiting with great anticipation.

I am waiting too. I just saw on the other thread that someone spoke to a CM either this morning or yesterday and they more or less confirmed they would be out by May 1. I will be up and calling bright and early April 30 for sure. Called this morning and nothing yet. Of course CM didn't look, just answered so I may try later to be sure. I just hope they don't go too quickly.

I know there isn't an exact answer to this question, but:

how long do you have, approximately, before the AP discounts are filled up? For example, if the AP discounts are announced on May 1, how long after that will they still be available? Again, I know there is no way to tell, but I have no clue... is it a couple of days, couple of weeks, couple of months?

I'm don't think it's ever the same. From what I've read here, though, it seems AP discounts for the most popular rooms (like maybe Poly LV Conc.?) go VERY quickly--like within the 1st half hour? Other rooms may have discounts available for the entire time the rate is available for booking.

The Value resort AP rates fill up very quickly also, within the first day.

Also obviously the longer your stay, the harder it will be to find all of your nights at the discount rate.

We, too, are anxiously waiting on AP rates for September. We are hoping to stay at the Pop Century for the first time. We really can't wait to go & are really hoping that the rates released will be thru Sept/Oct. too.

I'm looking for a WL standard room... how long do you think they will last??? I can't call from work, so I don't know if I can get in during the first few hours of release! What do you think?

I;m also waiting.... We are not going until Nov/Dec, so I my codes most likely won't happen now.

Question.... what are the chances for code for Nov 27 - Dec 4 ( That is the saturday after Thanksgiving). Have ressies for ASMo but would like to change. Very flexiable as to where we could stay, but dates might be tough to change.

Thanks for posting! We had planned a trip for September but had to cancel it due to a bunch of circumstances. However, if we could get a good AP rate, maybe we could reconsider....

I don't want to lose out on these codes (we have GF booked) I don't know how fast GF garden view rooms go, but I'm staying on that line no matter what April 30- whenever. I guess my kids might be late for school, but for the money we can save it will be worth it! I'm on the one the CM told April 30 - May 1. She seemed like she knew what was going on. I hope she was right. BTW, whatever happened to Shopthe Mouse, they knew several days in advance when the codes would come out and exactly how much the rooms would be? ALso, do you think DVisa is going to come out with anything. I can't stand all the waiting!

When I booked AP rate in Dec., the rates had been out for several weeks, and there were rooms still available. Std. rooms at Deluxe resorts seem to book pretty fast, however. When I booked in Jan. for April of this year, the rates had been out for a week or so, and there were still plenty of rooms/resorts left, and I got what I wanted. However, a month or so later, I changed my mind, and there were no discounts available for the concierge level. I kept calling, and was able to book Poly LVC about a month before our trip, and during the calls I made, they would tell me what was available at AP rate, and there were still rooms, at AKL for example.

WL rooms seem to book fast, though, so try to call ASAP. You may have to bump up to the next view, but with the AP rate, you're still getting a great deal!!

What if you are going to the hotel to check in, THEN going to a park where you're going to buy your AP and stay at the park until closing. Can you just show up back at the hotel on the first day with the AP in hand or do I have to find some way to get the AP before I check in?

As I understand it, you have to have the actual, activated AP at the hotel and not a voucher to get the AP rate so I can't buy a voucher a few days before I leave and use that at check-in.
