AP vs 7/5 pkg for Wilderness Lodge

I made a reservation at Wilderness Lodge for 6 nites at end of August using AP disc code. I plan to buy 1 AP and 3 6-day passes. Here are details:

6 nites w/ AP disc at WL = $763
1 AP = $400
1 adt + 2 kids 6nite pass = 773
ttl = $1,936

Do you think this is my best deal? 7/5 offer for WL is $2264

Pros: AP gets a few other discs too, I believe

Cons: AP does not have admission to DisQuest, water parks; PH passes will have skip parks on either day of arrival or dept

Are they any other negatives that I don't see?

I'm doing something similar and have figured that the cost is less for us to do use the AP rate for the hotels rather than the 5 for 7 deal. I'm actually going to get AP's for all of us since we plan to go back next July...but even if I got 1 AP and the rest of us park hopper tickets we'd still come out better. I think the 1st and last days of the UPH are wasted unless you can check into your hotel early and check out very late = or spend an extra night at the room only rate.
