Has anyone found the free dining packages being offered now to be a better deal than the AP rates? Trying to decide if its worth applying for a Disney visa. :confused3

POP Check In October 19, 2008
Check Out October 25, 2008

$1,280.58
This includes dining and 1 day ticket.

With free dining it would come out to $824.70.

Same as above with AP rate and dining is $1044.64.

Ok this definitely means I need to go back to researching! Thanks!

Thank you for helping me out, I ended up saving $215 AND have tix for later on our Dec trip! :santa:

:thumbsup2

December 17 - 24 at ASMu, 2 adults, 1 child, 1 day base tickets (we have AP's)

Regular rate - no discounts with dining = $1757.10

AP rate on room plus dining = $1326.16 + 226.86 (for tickets to keep things even) = $1553.02

Fall Discount package (now over) with dining = $1207.90

Disney Visa Free Dining = $867.21!!!

There is definitely a good room discount in there on mine - even more than 20%. I was expecting the total to be either $1155.31 with no room discount or $964.64 with a 20% room discount. We are paying an average of $80.95 a night (not including tax) for the room. The average for rack over the 7 nights is $118.43 (no tax), so the discount is about 32%! :cool1:

I was so excited, the CM on the phone kept laughing. It didn't occur to me to check a mod or even deluxe price for those dates. I may call later today and do that. I wonder if the discount will be as good?
