AP/upgrade from hopper

I was reading something on the budget board & I'm still trying to make sense of this & see if it's for us....We have 2DD's w/AP's b/c of birthdays' (DH & MINE exp in Dec). We are going next month for 6 days....on other board someone was comparing the "best" deal. We were planning on using some "old"tix for DH & I but now I'm rethinking....help me please.

We will be going back in Oct for 7 days & will ALL need AP's, or need to renew, by then (we usually go every Oct & sometimes another trip). Should I buy a 6day no exp tix for DH & I (w/mousesavers discount) & then upgrade? When would I upgrade to DVCAP? do you get a voucher for next time? Just trying to make sense of the upgrade thing....

you can only upgrade at WDW.

so do you what they were saying you need to use one day of the hopper - then go to guest services and upgrade.

just have your driver license and DVC member card.

now not sure if WDW would allow this on a renew - not a new one. So do you have an annual pass now?

DH & I do NOT have AP's now....only DD4 & DD7 have them.

So order the tix then upgrade @ park after using one day? Sounds like a plan.....will have to decide IF we want to do it now or in Oct. In Oct, we KNOW we could get 2 trips out of it (fall break is late this year & early next year)....may wait til then but will debate as prices may rise in Aug so I don't know which is best...

I'm debating on 10 day non expiring hopper/WPM tickets or annual passes to get TIW card.

No, you have to be an adult (21 and older) with and AP or be a Florida resident (age 21 and older) to purchase the TiW discount card.
