I have tickets that I will be upgrading to a AP when I arrive on Saturday. When we upgrade to the AP does the PhotoPass that is included with the AP automatically kick in? Will any photos taken before we upgrade(in front of the MK flowers/train station) be included also?

Thanks,

Tony

Yes. It'll kick in as soon as the AP is activated. Prior photos should show up as well.

We had a trip in August 2015 with our granddaughter. Did lots of PhotoPass pics. They disappeared from my account in October. In December, we upgraded some tickets to APs. As soon as we activated them, all the pictures from August were available to me again, and they're still there, along with every other picture we've had taken since.

All the AP really does is let you see, and give you download access to, the photos connected to your account.

My experience was a little different. I upgraded tix on my Feb trip to an AP, and all the pics from that trip are in my account for the full year, but only one pic from my previous trip showed up.

In my personal experience any valid photo that was in your account when your AP was activated was then granted the 1 year time frame and was available for download. I had a bunch from a trip my parents took a month earlier that are still showing in my account.

photos and videos that are within 366 days old will reappear in your photopass account (and expire from it over time). photos expire 365 days instead of 45 with an annual pass that has free photopass downloads on it.
