AP Room Rates

We are upgrading to annual passes when we visit WDW in June. Planning return trips in November and next June (before the AP's expire). I know that good rates are offered to AP holders, but how? Do I just keep calling Disney and asking? I know from threads here that AP holders are often waiting for these rates to be announced. Can someone tell my how early they typically come out, and are they for all resorts or just selected ones? In November we will stay at OKW and I just want to add on one night, cheap! In June I'll want a few weekend nights (at a Moderate or Deluxe) before moving to a DVC room.

Thanks!

They are usually 30%-50% off. I got Boardwalk Inn for $169 plus tax last year in early December, around 40%. Old Key West 1 bedroom was $270 plus tax last month, around 30%.

If you are a DVC member, member services might be able to get you the 25% member discount at OKW, for 1 night it would be worth the difference because they combine the reservations, you don't have to worry about checking out & back in for the extra day and they guarantee you the same room.

When AP rates are announced, you'll hear about it on these boards or on mousesavers.com

You can find a historical listing showing when AP rates were announced/available at the following link on mousesavers:

I believe the codes are for all value, moderate, and deluxe resorts (except some types of rooms in some of the resorts). I know they are also available for Fort Wilderness, but don't know about other home away from home resorts.
