AP Room Rates for October

Does anyone know when the AP Room Rates for October will be available?

We're staying at VWL for 13 nights (DVC members), but need somewhere to stay for the first night. We can stay in the Downtown Disney area, but as we've got annual passes I thought we might be able to get a discounted room rate somewhere onsite.

That remains to be seen. IF (a big if) Disney offers AP Holder discounts for October, I would anticipate their release in August. Last year was the first year in a long time that AP Holder discounts were offered for October through December.

Aside from last year, AP rates have not been historically available in October, November or December. That being said, you may be able to snag a good discount code rate for October if/when they come out. That should be after the current code expires - look for it around Mid-July if it's gonna happen.

But discount codes don't generally include the DD hotels, so I don't know if this will help you or not.

I spoke with CRO yesterday about booking a vacation in October, and the CM told me that the AP rates for October would be out in July. She said to figure on the usual 30%. I had asked her about AS-MO, PO-FQ, and Ft. Wilderness. I'm not sure if it's different for WL.
