AP Room-Only Release Date for Stays After June 6

I was able to book a woods view room at the WL for my SIL for 8 nights, with 2 adults and 2 children (17 and 10) and the dining plan for $2805!! She's checking in at the same time as us and was able to use my AP discount.

I'm sticking with my 5/3 deal and my courtyard view cause it was cheaper for me by about $40.

I guess the CM was right about me booking her room with my AP and we don't have any problems.

I just got home and saw that AP room rates were released til August 8th. Of course I need August 11th- 15th. I guess I'll just have to wait till June for those:rolleyes1

Ok, I just got home from school and I'm FRUSTRATED!

I just called and the CM basically told me he wasn't going to check it because nothing will beat the 4/3 deal. I explained that we have APs and we don't want to pay $75 each for tickets we don't need, then he said that we can use that as a credit towards an AP renewal to which I replied that I don't know if we'll be renewing so could he please just humor me and check.:thumbsup2

He then attempted to, but there are no other rooms of our type (Boardwalk Deluxe Club Level) available for him to even check it, and for him to check it he'd have to cancel what we have which means we'd lose our deal, so, NO WAY.

He said he thinks the discount is only 20%? That didn't sound right. He said he could just check a garden view club level room and said it was $579/night, but I thought the normal rate for that room was $540? (June 28-July 5):confused3

I haven't had a chance yet to glance through the thread and see what others have posted, but does anyone think the deal is better than the 4/3?

Thanks :goodvibes

I ran a week at the Boardwalk Deluxe Club Level from June 28-July 5 and it came up with $404/night on week nights and $424 on the weekends.

$3227 as your total....

Thanks! Right now we're paying $3297.33 (incl tax) so I guess we'll stick with that since we're getting 1 day tickets and a couple little MYW package extras too :thumbsup2 Thank you SO MUCH! :goodvibes

Wait... actually it was not a Deluxe room, just Standard, so no availability is available in the Deluxe level.

Strange about the AP rates. DH called and talked to a CM earlier today and we got AP rates for Coronada Springs that's not even showling on the Passholder site. We also got a cut rate on Wilderness Lodge. What the heck?:confused3

I can't get dates past June 6 to show up on the Passholder website now! I was checking earlier and my offer for mid-June timed out because I didn't book it, and now when I try to check the offer only through June 6 comes up. Anyone know how to get the offer for the later dates back?

I'm having the same problem and every time I click on something else it makes me type ALL my information in again and it's really getting annoying ;)

:confused3 I've been looking at the Disney site (not Passholder area) for the past 5 weeks to see if there were any CSR rooms available, thinking that if there was a lot of availability we'd stand a better chance of CSR having some AP rates. NOTHING except for suites and executive suites have been available for all that time. I almost didn't call at all today, but thought I'd give it a try .... Glad I did!!! :goodvibes

OT, but when I was inquiring about rooms & the 4/7 deal (or whatever it is) for an April 2009 trip I was told that AP holders don't have to purchase the one-day ticket any more.

We stuck with what we had, so we didn't need any package, but you might want to speak to another CM. Each one usually has a different answer about things.

That's weird, when I go to the website it is back to only showing available until June 6!

My understanding is Passholders don't need to get the one-day ticket with the passholder rate, but for the 4/7 deal you still had to.
