AP room discounts in December?

I just purchased an annual pass for the very first time -- woo hoo!!! Does anyone recall discounts on rooms being offered to AP in December in the past?? I already have a trip booked (booked as a bounce back) that I'm wondering if it would be better to cancel and book a room only since I know have an AP. I'd be giving up free dining, but. . . . it might be financially cheaper to skip the dining. . . .

No need to cancel your bounce back until an AP discount comes out. If one does, then you can crunch the numbers to see which one works out better for you.

Generally speaking, AP rates are the last to be announced. They are a last-ditch effort to put heads in beds. You can find information about past discounts here
