I'm not sure if I'm positing this in the right place, but here's my questions:

-If there are 4 people (2 adults & 2 kids) in a room, and only 1 of the adults has an annual pass, can an annual pass discount be applied to the room?

-Same 4 people as above, can you buy dining plan for all in room, or do you need to purchase theme park tickets for the other 3 guests to get ddp?

-Am I reading correctly that an annual pass room discount and free dining can be combined (if both offered for stay dates)?

TIA :)

Only one person in your party needs to have an AP to use the room discount and yes you can purchase the dining plan with an AP discount room only booking. But I can't imagine they would let you get an AP discount and let you get free dining. Free dining as far as I understand comes when you pay full rack rate of your room. As an AP holder I've been told I cannot take advantage of free dining unless I book and purchase additional tickets. But I just assume that always meant not using my discount.

No, you can't book 2 discounts. You'd have to choose AP room discount or free dining. And with free dining, even though you have an AP, you'd have to purchase a 2 day park ticket.

The pp's are correct. You only need 1 AP to book an AP room discount and you can get the DDP (pay for it, not free) for everyone in the room without having to purchase tickets for those who don't have an AP. You cannot stack discounts, so as Sue M posted, you would have to choose either the AP discount or free dining as you can't combine them. Also, even though you have an AP, if you chose FD, everyone would have to purchase at least a 2 day base ticket to get FD (even the AP holder).

I simply hold the 2 day tickets that I had to buy for those of us with APs and then use them as credit towards the renewal of our AP when it's time. As long as you don't use any of the ticket, they are good for later.

Depending on the resort's rack rate, the AP discount plus the Tables in Wonderland discount (for dining) is a much better deal than "Free" Dining.

You can buy the dining plan with the AP discount, but with the TiW, most of APers don't.

JMHO. :)
