AP Room Discount- Stupid Question

I am sure this is a really stupid question, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. To get the AP room discount, does everyone staying in the room have to have their own AP? Or can just 1 person have the AP and other people purchase a MYW ticket?

Just one person ,the one who's name is on the reservation .

Also, the person with the AP must have an adult AP. A discounted room can't be booked with only a child AP holder in the room.

Another stupid question, not from the OP - can an adult AP book more than one room or must there be an adult AP listed for each room?

Not stupid at all... an adult AP holder can only book one discounted room. It used be 3, but that changed 2-3 years ago. There must be one adult AP holder for each discounted room.... HTH.
