AP Resort without tickets question

I'm sorry if this has been discussed. The system isn't letting me search.

I'm an AP holder and trying to make a resort reservation. I'm not able to book without buying a package. Is that something the system is doing now, only selling packages, no room only reservations?

no i think you can still get a reservation w/o park tickets. the site may be down, i would just try again soon.

on my wdw site there are options under the large photo, and just select room if thats all you want.

Has your AP been activated? I don’t see an option for tickets when booking with an AP discount.

My tickets are activated. I've used them in two previous trips already. I'm signed in and searching through the "places to stay" tab on the website. It only brings up "package details" and the least amount of ticket days it will allow is one.

Is it somehow showing you a discounted rate on packages? I've had issues with that before, it gets stuck on searching for a specific discount and it's a pain to clear that out.
