AP renewal

I looked through the ticket FAQ sticky but couldn't find the answer to this. I know I need to renew my AP within 30 days of the expiration day in order to get the renewal price. But I won't be in the parks until after the 30 days. Can I renew by phone to get the renewal rate and pick up at Will Call or guest services once I'm there? It's a DVC AP if that helps. And yes, I realize it would activate to the actual expiration date and not the pick up date if I can.

1. That is correct for AFTER the anniversary date, but it is outdated info for BEFORE the anniversary date.
Guests can now renew AP's up to 60 days PRIOR to their anniversary date.
That is to allow them to access FP+ at the 60-days-prior mark if they face a pending AP expiration date.
