AP renewal Question

We are DVC members with Annual Passes expiring 8/12/08. We have a Free Dining Trip planned for 9/5 and want to use my 1 day park ticket that was part of the package and apply it to my annual pass renewal. Will they still give me the renewal rate if I wait until 9/5 to renew?

Unfortunately you have to renew your AP on or before 8/12/08 to get the renewal price. Anytime after that date, you will have to buy a new pass.

I thought you had 30 days to renew, yes, it would be backdated but you still had the time.

We always renewed prior to expiration, so cannot speak from experience.
I have been told by friends it use to be you had 30 days afterwards. But that stopped some years ago. Again, that is only hear say.

I've renewed after expiring slightly. Not sure if that has changed, but you should still try. We have applied our 1-day tickets to our DVC renewals several times and it's never been a problem. There has always been a 30 day grace period. I can't see them not honoring your renewal request. Please post back when your return to let us know if the policy has changed and you can't do it.

I'm pretty sure you can do an AP renewal 30 days before OR 30 days after the expiration. Of course, the expiration date would still be the same day (8/12 in your case).

To take advantage of renewal savings, renewals can be purchased 30 days prior to or 30 days after the expiration date. Limit 8 purchases per household.
