Hi, can anybody tell me if I am luckly enough to get an AP rate, would I hvae to have 2 different ressies if my stay goes over the dates?

ie: we are going 13 Dec to 30 Dec - last years AP rate was available up to 22nd Dec, would they honour the rate through to 30th or would the rate change on 22nd?

As long as your check in date is before the cut-off you will get the AP rate for your entire stay ......as long as one is available for the resort you choose.

Thank you for confirming that - I thought it would be but I have been having a lot of trouble getting them to do the same thing on my rack rate booking.

I have been told twice that I need 2 reservations for my stay because the rate changes from Value to holiday season, it took an 1hr 20 min phone call to get them to honour our booking. They didn't seem to have a problem taking the original booking back in January but when I wanted to add a couple of days on they said I couldn't !!

Just FYI - You are limited to 14 days (I think you were previously limited to 10 but they changed it this year). Anyway, if you are staying longer than 14 days you split your stay so the last days start on the last day of the value season, you can get all of those dates at AP rate, value season. Then you book a different reservation for the days prior to that. For example, if you want to go from December 13th - December 30th 2007, and value season ends on the 19th, you would make one reservation for December 13th - December 16th and make another reservation for December 16th - December 30th. You do run the risk of having to move rooms (we never have in 8 split stays) and you would have to check in/check out on the 16th but if you go early, it has always been quick. Anyway, you can get the AP value season rate for the whole stay this way. :woohoo: Hope this helps.
