I have asked nicely for an AP for my birthday. 
Couple of quick questions in anticipation of my gift.
1. What is the typical time frame you see room rates released?
I am looking at mid-October & end of July for our stays.
2. I know you can get the TIW card (huge plus for us)...what other perks do AP's get?
3. I believe you can purchase your AP but not activate it until you check in? In order to book a room with you AP before that, I assume the only way to do that is to call..? There is no way to check room price and availablity online previous to having it activated...correct?
