AP rates out for Jan 2012

So do they always give you 24 hours to show the AP after check in? I want to get an AP from Shades of Green but they close at 7PM and we probably wont arrive until 8PM! So if I book a room at a Disney Resort with an AP discount and do not have it yet at check in, will they definately give me 24 hours to produce it?

I was told I had to have it to check in when I made res over the phone by CM, however I have read MANY other people say that this isn't the case and they give you a grace period of 24 hours. I talked to a phone CM, and they are notorious for being "uninformed" or "incorrect".

This is the cancellation policy I got when I booked my room:
CANCELLATION POLICY: In order to receive a refund of your deposit, including credit card deposit transactions, notification of cancellation must be received 5 days prior to your arrival date. To cancel a reservation, call (407)-W-DISNEY(934-7639). Additionally, if you are holding any other reservations, they will not be cancelled unless you advise us. The cancellation and refund policy are subject to change.

However, if you book it as a room and dining plan package, you can add the DDP, it is 45 days.

I just checked the prices and they are they same. However POLY garden view CL is no longer available online.

The annual pass discount that I tried does not apply to Fri/Sat night (for the BC). Is that right? For the weekdays it is 40% off.

Does anyone know if the "winter savings" offer also has the same weekday restrictions?

I was able to answer my own question - For anyone else, the winter savings code is better than the AP code (at least for me dealing with weekends).

If so, I am trying to figure out if it is cheaper to convert our tickets in November to annual passes.

Can someone tell me if AP rates are available at Pop for January 11-16. Also, historically are AP rates available in October/November?

I need to figure out if all of this is cheaper than just booking 3 trips with FD.

Well, I just came back from an SSR trip, booked under the AP rate. I tried to give the CM checking me in my AP with my credit card, and she looked at me like I had two heads. I said, "Don't you need this?" She shook her head, so I put it away.

Don't forget to factor in merchandise discount and lunch discounts at many TS restaurants.

No availability at the Villas for those dates. The Boardwalk Inn does have availability for Water View - Wednesday is $267, the rest are $297.

This seemed a little high to me, so I went back and priced rack rate for a AKL Savana View 1 bedroom Villa. It was $575.00/night ($1941.00). Wow! The price difference would easily pay for an AP with alot of savings left over. lol
