I just got at AP rate for the BC or YC for one nite ,standard view
of $238... Is that a Good rate? I've read somewhere else that
past AP rates have been $169-$179...So Now I'm wondering?
Also which would you stay at BC or YC if you had a choice?
Also does anyone have room numbers that they have stayed
at either YC or BC that they liked(standard)? What is a comeback rate??? Thanks for all of the info!!

It's the rate they are offering, but IMO not that great. We've stayed at the YC three times the past three years and have always paid less (AP, upsell, summer special rates). We also get hit with a $25 extra adult fee for my oldest child, so couldn't justify the cost this year. We've been going to WDW every year since 1999, and this is the best summer rates I've seen on value and moderate resorts, though.

Sorry I can't help with room numbers. We got upgraded to water view last year and loved the location. View was not really that special, but we were on the end near stairs and near the small elevator. Could zip down the steps to get to the pool, small laundry room was right outside the elevator on first floor, neighbors only on one side -- great location all the way around.

We've chose YC three times.

Comeback rates were offered to people while they were at Disney for booking another trip while they were still there.

So what do you think...Is it worth it to move from Fort Wilderness
Cabins(got a AP rate of $160 a nite, staying 12 nites) to Yacht/
Beach club just for 1 nite(couldn't get 2 nite AP rates)????
I just thought it might be fun for a change up at the end of our
trip!! But Hubby thinks it's too much trouble! Don't know what to
do???

Hey there. Is that $238 with tax for YC? I think AP rates are around $215 but would come out to $238 with tax. I don't think those are bad rates - I have seen them for less but not extrememly often - or perhaps it was for Florida residents. In any case - to address the question of whether it's worth it to move: hmmmmmmm, in my opinion - I'd have to say no. Not for one night. You'd spend valuable time arranging the move and it's very possible you would not be able to check in until the "official" time (which is around 3 I think). I would enjoy your time at Fort Wilderness. From the things I hear on these boards from FW fans - you are gonna love it! Have fun!!

I'm with hubby, no way would I bother moving for one night. Our friends got $180 last year at BC with AP's -- but don't seem to be as good this year. I think that was before tax.
