AP Rates for AFTER August 4th are...........

The AP rate at OKW (8/10-8/12) for a 2 bedroom is $450 per night including tax. VWL had one bedrooms available for anyone looking.

just called to find out about AKL for our one night on Aug 31st - nothing available - couldn't even upgrade to a savanna room at the regular rates as the resort is apparently sold out

Oh well - I have my room anyway - a pool view room with CAA/AAA rate of $219.94 incl tax so I'll be happy with that!!

My first call, the CM told me that there were only passholder rates during August at Old Key West Studios and Saratoga Springs. She specifically said there was nothing at the Deluxe resorts.

The compters at CRO are running really slowly. I've called 3 times and they've all been something different. From the 3 calls the following resorts have popped up with an AP rate ... CSR, Contemporary,YC,BC for my date, but nothing for GF or Poly. I'm just gonna keep calling back til they come up!

Changed my five nights at YC in august to AP rate (from AAA) and saved about $180! Not bad for a few days of stressing here on the board and about a 3 minute call. Computers are running slow but I had a GREAT CM.

I have called three times this morning and have gotten different info each time. We were originally booked at the Poly for 8/10-17. Called right at 7am and the CM told me that Poly was not available and the only options for our family of 5 were BC or 2 rooms elsewhere. Booked BC and then the system went down before she could look at Mod options. CM called back ~ 8:00 and we could get two rooms at CB. We changed to CB, still no Poly. Saw on the Dis that several others were getting the Poly ??? Called back around 8:30 and no Poly. Called again around 10:00 and what do you know - the Poly was available, at least for the first 4 nights of our stay !!! So now...we are at the Poly and then CB. We will keep trying to get the whole trip at the Poly, but if not we are good!!!

FYI - the last CM told me that there are two codes out there for AP discounts. Using the first code, she found nothing at Poly, but we lucked up with the second one!!

All of the information is now available on the AP website. There is indeed two different promotions. One for regular resorts and the other is advertised for DVC (OWK/SSR) resorts. So make sure you are looking at the correct promotion. I did a couple of dates and had no problem getting Sports or Music for the dates I wanted, but never got Pop to come up. I must admit, these are the highest prices I've seen for value season AP rates ever. The savings for the value rooms is only $18 a night. They are listing the Studio rooms starting at $164. There are several blackout dates as mentioned. I believe the dates run until Sep. 29.

I had a great CM, too - just called, and got through within minutes. No WL for my dates (just a quick weekend trip from 9/14-16), but I have a AAA Std. Room rate already booked, so I'll be happy with that. The CM said the most calls she has fielded today have been for the WL.

Of course, my parents have Florida residency, so maybe they'll have luck switching our reservations tomorrow. The CM was very coy in saying she knew nothing about it - but we both knew she did.

I was offered CR Garden for $225, CR Tower MK View for $315, Poly Garden for $249, and a Honeymoon Suite at the WL for $315. I didn't ask if these rates included tax, although I bet they don't.

I WILL be happy with what I have - I booked AKL pool view room a long time ago b/c I knew I wanted to stay there and check it out in case we wanted to buy more DVC points (after our week at WLV). an AP rate would have been nice but was not meant to be - I did get a AAA rate so that's better then nothing! I'll be enjoying Disney with my family (for the 3rd time in one year!) and we will have a great time!! I know we are very fortunate to be able to afford to do some wonderful family vacations!

they are probably loading everything right now

if you have an AP, you will probably get an email this afternoon or tomorrow giving you "advance notice" about the Passholder special offer

This is what I was thinking too. I have an AAA rate which I already own, so I don't know if getting an AP would be worth it? We are only going 3 days at POFQ and 2 days at the Dolphin or a Deluxe with a cruise in between this summer. Next summer, it would only be 3-4 days before a cruise. I figured getting the DDE card would break even or better this summer. Thanks for letting me think out loud.

I am on the phone w/ CRO right now and have the most amazing CM helping me. Unfortunately NO GF for the 8 days I've been trying for... NO CONCIERGE anywhere she said, or maybe it's just the dates I've tried...actually, she did offer me YC CL at one point, so not sure I am on hold right now...NOTHING at Contemporary for my dates. I decided to split our stay and got 2 good offers. Trying to book Poly Theme Park View right now

NO ACK! AUGUST ​

Well, 4th time's a charm. The first 3 cm's I spoke to insisted the AP rates are not out and the message boards are wrong and they were not exactly very friendly either, even though I was very nice to them. Called back for the 4th time, just like you guys said, got a cheerful cm who gladly checked the AP rates for me.

Well, I booked my fifth choice in resorts... but I am happy. I will probably switch if one of my other choices comes up and I did pay $25 pn more than I wanted to for BWI (I was hoping for 199 pn), but if that is where we end up, I will be thrilled. I have never stayed there. I have no clue what it's like. Gotta love the evil clown slide though.

BC, CR, AKL, were booked for my dates. YC was water view only. CSR was booked, which was my first choice mod. I forgot to ask about Poly because of the price. I will be happy when they update the web site and I can play around with dates and resorts.

But no Ack! August!!! Yey!

I'm surprised at how few rooms were available during my dates as well has how little they were discounted.

We were staying at Beach club, but they had no rooms at all there with the rate, so I switched to Yacht club (standard view) and saved only $37 a night over the AAA discount I already had. But...that over $100 I'll be able to spend on something else while I'm there

Just got off the phone. The CM said I was the first caller of the day asking for the newly released discount.
Staying at poly - originally booked AAA rate incl tax $314.61 for GV - new AP rate of $280.12. $35 savings that will help pay for my DDE card. I'll take it!!
