There is no new number or announcement in the special offers area but the availablity calendar was finally updated :cheer2:

PP is at $149 in October, $149 for most of November but jumps to $179 for Thanksgiving, and $149 & $179 for December. (all standard rooms)

DLH is $159 in October, $159-$209 for November and December for the standard rooms

GCH is $239 for October, $239-309 for November and December for the standard rooms. We went with a DTD view for $279 :goodvibes

Now they are having problems with their computer systems so we had to ask to talk to a supervisor to get the rate...it isn't even going through for the book online option. But there are going to be AP rates this fall

Wow! Thanks for letting us know (you know I was one of the ones eagerly awaiting those rates, so of course they come out now when my AP is about to expire and $$$ is tight)! The calendar is always where I look first anyway. So they just lumped October rates in with December's rates being released, I guess, making it very hard to plan anything for October because they waited so long to show those rates.

I knew!! it!! I was on expedia this morning and they dropped PP prices woohoo too late for October we are all ready at hojo for the week but I'll be grabbing December dates this afternoon! Woohoo :cool1:

I was just on line trying to get a reservation and although the calendar displays the new rates, once you make the reservation it still comes up with the old rate. I called and they said that the new rates are not available until tomorrow.

I was told to call back tomorrow to get the lower rates. Also, she said they were "sold out" for our dates - but when I pointed out that I had a reservation, she said they should be able to adjust it to the lower rate. I'll believe it when I see it. But if you are going in November, the rates are really good vs. what we have right now.

Awesome!!! :cool1:
I WAS able to call and book! We are spending 3 nights at the GCH, Oct 29th - Nov. 1st! $239 plus tax and resort fee. Halloween at DLR!:cool1::cool1:
The CM was somehow able to override the old prices in their system. :thumbsup2

I was told that and I asked to speak to a supervisor. Those are the magic words when you are dealing with call centers and having problems, if the supervisor can't fix it you have to try again...but they definitely have more power than the peons.

Well, I called... twice. Spoke with 2 different CM's both refused to let me book with the good rate.

The first CM I spoke with didn't even want to admit there was a lower rate, saying it was only available on line and if I couldn't book it online at that price the rooms must not be available.... Then I pointed out that I spoke with other people who were able to book starting tomorrow. Then she said oh yea, well you can call tomorrow and we can book it:confused3

When I called back the CM was honest and told me I couldn't book it until tomorrow so I did a hold on a room and will call in the morning for the good rate.

What do the AP rates look like at the DLH for Dec 8-13th? Would anyone mind loooking for me? Thank you so much!!!:flower3:

Online booking for those rates is now working by the way.

I called three different times yesterday and couldn't get anyone to book at the lower rates. One CM did tell me that she expected they'd actually be in the computer tomorrow, but wasn't certain of it.

Called this morning and we were able to switch to the lower rate and actually ended up going to the GCH for less than our original reservation at the DLH. So Mickey ends up with almost the same $$$, but we get the nicer hotel :)

Yes, it's definitely working now. I got my rate for the GCH switched over too. With those savings we're pretty much staying one night for free. :cool1:

There was slight confusion because the CM got my name wrong and spent several minutes looking my reservation up (turned out I had an incomplete reservation number), but all is well in the end.

I am slightly stumped though why she kept looking for my name with an O (as in orange) when I even spelled for her "A as in apple." I know I do have an accent, but it's not that bad.

I booked my December trip this morning!! I tried to book last night but the website wan't reflecting the right price, and the guy on the phone told me to call back cause they were having issues!

But as soon as I logged on this morning I tried the website again and it gave me the right price! Three nights at the GCH one of which is my birthday!! :cloud9:

So can't wait!!
