AP rates are here!!

Thanks to Mousesavers for posting that the AP rates are out! We booked Wilderness Lodge for $114 a night August 5 - 11th!!! Already bought our plane tickets, last week, so we're going for sure now!!!

Cindyfan....I actually had it priced out and it seems like we each have about the same situation and numbers but chose the opposite option! Ha! We each would pay about $250 less now for the FT package without one person but you decided to keep the old passes for the future and I decided to use them now. I see what you mean though. If the old passes are worth about $300 and you save $250 on the package by leaving one person off, it's like the one-fewer-person-package costs $50 more. Since it will probably be TEN YEARS (boo-hoo) until we can go back to WDW, I would rather pay $250 less in 2003 than maybe save $500 or so ten years from now. I could definitely see if you are going again in a year, it would be a closer decision.

Thanks for your response. I love this board!

I just called for one night, Aug. 2, prior to our check in at BCV on points. The $114 at WL was no longer available, according to my CM. That was fast! We took Coronado Springs for $84, $93.66 with tax. I was surprised it was available. AKL standard was still available, but we have stayed there before, so trying something new. I did get a rate for a BCV studio with the code, but $227 including tax was a little pricey. Though a good rate for that room! Diana

Yippie! I shaved another $10 off per night on 3 days of my AKL Standard View reservation :) :). I'm paying $124 for 7/3 and I just made a new reservation for the last 3 nights at $114. Hey ... $30 will pay for dinner and drinks at Boma's ... for me ;).

I just booked my weekends with AP rates. (saving those DVC points for an extra week) We got 7/11 and 12 for $84 at CBR and 7/18 and 19 at AKL for $114. Almost booked OKW 1br for $250 for that weekend as we're staying there the week before and after, great price for that room, but DH wanted AKL.

I really wish we could get the standard view rooms at the WL or AKL. We visited both resorts last year and thought they were wonderful! But we are a family of five and POR is the one for us. We love it there and can afford that. OH well. Maybe in a few years when we go back we can afford a deluxe.

We were on an overnight trip. just got back and checked my e-mail, there was wonderful news from dreams telling us we had just saved $551. :bounce: :bounce:

Thank You Sue Ellen your the BEST. :)

Thank You Sue Ellen your the BEST. :)

That's great to hear, especially after reading about how some DU agents have not kept up with some of the new rates/codes. I've very happy to hear that things are working as they should.

I just booked the Savannah view, AKL, Aug 12 for 7 nights at the $190 rate. The CM was up on the codes, was able to guarantee nonsmoking and was most pleasant. (The first CM I talked verified my contact info, then transferred me to an "AP CRO" specialist on my request.

I asked for a supervisor to document and commend both CMs on their efficient and pleasant work. (I told the CM I was going to do that and she was "thrilled.")

Now I have to tell hubby that
1) we're getting at least one AP and
2) I booked Savannah view, when standard view would have been "just fine". (Ebay selling, here I come:cool:

Yesterday I was not able to get a moderate during our August trip. (Except waterview at CBR - but I'm too cheap to pay extra for that! :o ) I called again today and was able to get CSR or CBR for our first week - I took CSR :D . Going to keep trying to get POR ~ hoping for a cancellation

You are VERY welcome!!! Enjoy that extra money on your trip!!

Sue Ellen

Sue Ellen at dreams unlimited has been great. Answers all of my questions very quickly. This is the 3rd time when codes & ap rates came out that she has gotten them for us. some of our trip is before july 3rd, some after.

1 week WDW, then 4 day cruise, then back to WDW. She even got us some P.S's for the week of the 4th that i thought would of been hard to get considering the crowds that week.

This is the first time i have booked thru dreams but it will not be my last. :) :)

Hi Sue Ellen.
