AP rate with DDP?

Ok I just called to find out rates for 2 nights at Pop preferred with DP using AP. Currently AAA rate is $84.61 w/tax. I was quoted the AP "discount" rate of $275 and some change per night! Ok, ressie is for DS and myself, so if you minus the DP of $38 pp, the room comes to $107 and some change per night??? Where is the AP discount in that??

Ok I will rephrase my question and maybe someone will respond.

I called for AP rates for Pop for 8/22-24. I was quoted a price that came to about $85 per night for preferred room with tax included. It was about $1 less than my AAA rate that I booked. The problem is I want the DDP. I thought the price for that would be the AP rate price plus what the dining plan costs per person. When they priced it out for me, and I subtracted the cost of dining plan, it came to $107 per night for room. Is this how it is? You can get DP with AP, but the room is at rack rate?

Maybe you should call back, you can get a room with the AP rate & add the DDP.

Well I just called and 3rd times a charm! I was able to get the AP with DDP where the room discount was about what AAA discount was, plus the added benefit of getting the DP which is what I really wanted. He had to really search for the code as it is not the FKH.

Strange, in May I just said I wanted to add it to my AP room discount & they did not ask for a code, Did they tell you what the code is?

FKH is just the passholder room only code. The passholder with dining code is DCU for late august

Code CSS goes until 8/2. From 8/3-9/27 its DCU for discount AP room plus dining
