Stupid question's on AP rates. We are going October 19th to November 9th, if an Ap rate comes out now to say 31st October does that mean that if you check in between this period but your check out is after you only get discount to 31st and you have to wait for the November codes for the remainder or is the discount offered for the period of your stay if your check in date is within the period, hope it is not too confusing.
Also I know they have a 10 day maximum rule will cro let you split your booking dates to get the maximum discount? If they do does that mean you have to check out and in again after 11 days even if you are staying at the same hotel or can it all be sorted out when you first check in as I had this horrible thought that you may have to change rooms as well

Any comments appreciated

OK, first of all, your rate at check in is the rate you pay the entire stay. The exceptions to this might be Christmas but I am not sure. I know 12/20 through 1/1/06 are considered blackout dates. You might pay regular rate then, but for your stay, you would be fine. The 10 day maximum is a tough one. You would have to have 2 reservations and yes, they could change rooms on you if you do it at the same resort.

WDW resorts do not have room rate changes during your stay.
For over 10 days, you would need another res. Now that res, depending on your timing may have a different rate. Just as an example say your second stay started while in Holiday Season.

In order to keep the same room I would just make sure they book your room for a continuing stay. As long as you pay for the same type of room, I would think it would have to be unusual circumstances to switch you to another room. :confused3

Yes, a guest would check out and then in. But I think only in the system.
