Is it just me or is it just wiser to book a AAA room only for the $ difference?

I wont be subject to the stringent policy of the AP best rate program.

Is there anything else to compare?

Am I missing an advantage to booking with my AP?

Can I book 2 rooms with AAA rate?

Thanks,

Michele

Personally, I don't like the restrictions that the AP discount puts on ressies. I can't answer your 2nd and 3rd questions, but I do know that you can book more than one room with a AAA discount. I did it myself.

Thanks for the info.

I don't like the restrictions either. :maleficen

I'll probably book AAA.

Keep watching the AP rate program. I had a reservation with the AAA discount and the difference beween that and the best rate program was very small so I decided not to change. I checked back about 3 weeks later and the best rates had dropped to be about $15 dollars a night less at CBR and $30 dollars a night less at GF. At that point it became worth it to me to change. Like you I questioned whether the couple of dollars difference was worth the hassle.

When you checked the ap rates again, how did you do that? website or over the phone?

Thanks,

Michele

I have my room booked with AAA for a value in Nov/Dec. My rate is 61 flat and I would rather pay the $2 more a night to not have the restrictions and be able to cancel without penelty if necessary.
