Which would be cheaper....getting an AP rate and buying AP's or going with the Disney VISA deal?

There are several Disney Visa deals right now. It also will depend on length and time of stay and what Resorts you prefer. The DV deal we got was better by a few hundred dollars than anything else we were looking at, but that was the Kids Play Free deal and we have 2 kids under 9...

Getting the DV deal most definately. the last batch of AP codes were around 30% off rack rates, and you'd have to pay full price for an AP. So, using the Poly as an example, and using 2 adults. An AP rate would be $229 per night, totalling $1787 for garden view for 7 nights. Add in the cost of two AP's the total is $2570 for the trip. With the DV deal, you pay for 4 nights at full price and get 7 nights, this includes the passes as well. So, that total would be $1890, a SIGNIFICANT savings over the AP rates and AP's. If you plan on going another time during the year, buying an AP might work out, since your passes could be used for another trip. If this is the only trip you plan on taking within the next 12 months, try for the Disney Visa package, it truly is the best deal in that situation!!

Very cool. I have the DV deal right now, I just didn't want to choose the wrong one. That's why I came to all of you knowledgable DISers out there :)
