AP rate @ ASM suites?

do they ever give an AP rate on the suites @ ASM? i'm wondering if we should just get 2 rooms or the suite for Jan?

Interesting...this question just popped into my head earlier today! We're going in Jan (5 of us) and I figured we'd be looking at the ASM suites, but after reading all the amenities of the other resorts, I'm not 100% sure yet. And if there are discounts offered, maybe it wouldn't be that much more. Now, if discounts can be applied to the suites, I can think of a bunch of ways to spend the extra $ to make up for those amenities. Hmmmm....

WOW I was just wondering the same thing and was hoping someone had the answer already. we are not looking to go until later in 2008

i've never thought about it before till our upcoming Jan. trip where we are booking 2 rooms but if they offer an ap discount on the suites that would be a better deal if not, it's cheaper to get the 2 rooms w/a discount. keep the info coming!!

To date, no discounts of any kind have been offered for the ASMusic Family Suites, not even AAA.

For us, two rooms at the values is better pricewise.

ClKelley, actually that is incorrect. There are currently AP discounts on the A/S Music suite for September. I was shocked, along with several other disboard members. This was the first time I had seen any discounts on these accommodations. I think it was because there were so many rooms left. Since free dining in September did not apply to the suites, folks didn't book them. The current AP rate for the A/S music suite is $140 a night and that is for value season. An excellent rate. However, there has to be availability in order for them to be discounted, since this is what happened. SSOOO if you book the suites now and expect them to be discounted later, that will not happen because the theroy is, unless they need to fill the room they will not offer discounts. So bottom line is yes they did get discounted for the first time this September with AP discounts (not sure about FL discounts), but no discount for the general public.

I just cut and pasted this from the AP website for booking rooms. I put in a couple of night for mid September and see the results below for AP holders: (Pretty good)

Family suites have two full bathrooms and a mini-kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, and sink.
