AP questions

I purchased APs through Sam’s and added the vouchers to my account. I know I have to go to a ticket counter or GS to get them activated. My main question is...am I able to make FP+ 60 days out? I’m staying on property. Does MDE recognize these vouchers as tickets and open up the window? Also, what if I want to buy any extra experiences using AP discount in advance of arrival, and therefore in advance of actually activating? Will I still get the discount on things like after hours tickets/party tickets/room discounts if I call?

Yes - with a valid AP voucher, all discounts apply. You may or may not need to show your actual AP upon arrival at WDW.

Just the questions I had too. Maybe I’ll get mine ahead of time and bridge the others with tickets for the discount. Thanks

Is there a difference in MDE between a voucher and an AP that hasn't been used? We had tickets we upgraded to AP's a while back but never went for the first day. They are in MDE with expiration dates way in the future. Does it look different that a voucher?

1. Is there a difference in MDE between a voucher and an AP that hasn't been used?
2. We had tickets we upgraded to AP's a while back but never went for the first day.
3. They are in MDE with expiration dates way in the future.
4. Does it look different that a voucher?
1. Maybe.
2. Did you USE any of the days on that original ticket before you upgraded to AP?
If you did NOT use your original ticket, your AP is still "ready for use" and not started "counting down" its year of validity.
3. A purchased, but as yet, unused AP (or AP certificate-sometimes called an "AP voucher") should have
an expiration date of the year 2030.
4. Maybe. But, if you USED any of the days on that original tickets the AP will expire one year from the
first date the original ticket was used.
If you upgraded a never-used ticket to AP, that AP is still considered a purchased, but as yet, unused AP (or AP certificate-sometimes called an "AP voucher.")
The "maybe" is because I have learned not to just TRUST what appears in MDX.
I only trust what I know to be the rules of how tickets are handled by the guest at WDW.
