AP Questions - Help needed please!

Hello My Lovely fellow Dis'ers!

So we are a party of 8 (2 families of 4) traveling to Florida Aug 5-16. We already have a villa booked but as we are going to the dark side for at least 2 (probably 3) days and we were thinking of purchasing a one time universal fast pass for at least one day so for 4 that would be $70 p/p or $280 for each family.

Well that got me to thinking that maybe we should stay at one of the deluxe hotels for one night which would give us unlimited fast pass for 2 days and would only cost us about $30 more than the one day pass! The Lowes hotel is $304 for one night per room!

So to finally get to my questions.

I was wondering if I bought one annual pass, just the basic one, how many other park tickets can I buy and what is the discount?

How do I find out what the blackout dates are for the hotel rooms?

Do you have to pay for parking at the hotel?

How many hotel rooms can you get discounts on assuming they are not blackout dates?

the hotels are owned/ran by Loews (rpr and pbr) and HRH


look up the benefits of the APs on the website

last time i read it, 6 was the limit for discounted park tickets at a time.

black out dates are on the UO website.
that info should be on the section of ap benefits

you can book one room per ap unless you have young children and need a second room if you are over the limit of 5 in one room.
can request two connecting rooms and have on adult assigned to each room.

Thanks Macraven. I did find the link on the page for the blackout dates for the power pass. Do you know if we went for the middle pass if the blackout dates still apply to the hotel part? The basic power pass wouldn't work for us as the blockout dates are the whole time we are there this time!

the black out dates are only for the power passes.

it does not effect the preferred or premier passes.

So is there a list of hotel dates that are not available for the preferred pass or is it a straight discount off the listed cost?

the only way you can find out if your dates have AP discounts available is to call Loews and ask or check on the booking site in the UO website.

there are no black out dates for the preferred or premiere APs.

some of the hotels might have dates available for that discount while others might not.

depends if the alloted ap rooms have already been filled.

Code to check for annual pass rates is APH on the Loews website. If you check on the hotels forum there is a thread about AP available dates.
