AP question...

Our AP's ran out mid March. I really don't care to renew(I really mean activate) until our next trip in Aug. However, I do want to take advantage of any AP discounts that come down for Aug. I haven't used an AP discount in over a year, since we're DVC members, we only book rooms once in a while. It used to be I could book a room under a AP rate, then just get the AP sometime before arriving. Can I still do that now, or should I be on the stick and ordering our AP's? I don't want to take a chance on losing out on a discount for the last 3 days of our Aug trip (staying 5 nights at BWV)

I'm pretty sure they will ask you for your AP number when applying any AP discounts, so just get one very close to your travel date and then check for any discounts. Those of us going in June/July are still waiting to see any AP codes--some replies say there won't be much in resort savings this year, so that's VERY different for us; we always got huge $$ off with the codes. Wait and see, I guess.
