AP question with add on

I have only been a DVC member for a few months and I am a little confused by the AP offer. Can new members get it or is it just for existing members who add on points? Are the AP for one year or is it something you get every year like when DVC first started? I am just trying to see if I can score some free passes since I am a newbie. Thanks

The offer is if you add at least 130 points at SSR AND are an existing DVC member. You get 2 passes and that's it, no additional ones after the first 2.

The 2 free APs are for add ons by existing members, for an add on of 130 points or higher. This is not available to new members. The APs are sent as 2 certificates for a one year AP, redeemable at the parks for a real AP. They show no expiration date, only the date printed. So I assume they do not expire, but are only for a one year AP, not a lifetime AP. Hope this helps, got my closing papers yesterday!
