AP Question -- need help FAST!

I'm trying to buy the AP online at the Disney Website. I would like to pick up the tickets at the park, but would I be able to purchase a DDE card in the meantime? Will they email me a confirmation that I've paid for an AP, and that will allow me to buy a DDE? Or do I have to have the tickets shipped to me, and I must have them in my hot l'il hands before I can buy a DDE?

We had to have our AP vouchers in hand to order the DDE, back when we did this in March.

Now, I think they've changed how they do the DDE just a bit - I think you can now pick up a copy of your confirmation at one of the guest relations locations in Epcot. You'd still have to call them (on a weekday - they're not open on weekends) and go through the motions once you receive your AP at the park, but maybe you could now pick up your letter at guest relations.

Maybe someone else can chime in that has done this more recently...

We bought our AP's at Animal Kingdom's Guest Relations on Easter Sunday (upgraded from MYW tickets). On Monday, at MGM, I called on my cell phone to order my DDE and within 10 minutes a confirmation of my DDE purchase was faxed to MGM's guest relations. The faxed confirmation worked for the rest of the trip! (Now that we are home, I still haven't gotten my card, so I have to call because we are going at the end of June, again)

They only fax the DDE confirmation to one Guest Relations now, and that is at Epcot at the one to the right of the turnstiles as you enter the Main Entrance.

So I can buy my AP at the park (or at another location, such as the visitors' center), and then immediately call to order the DDE? And then they will fax the confirmation to the Epcot location, and I can pick it up there and use that for the rest of the trip? Doesn't sound too bad.

Does anyone know the hours of the Epcot location where I can pick up the faxed confirmation?
